A Theatre Centre Fundraiser
"The whole block, all in one spot"
BOUNCE is the annual Theatre Centre fundraiser. With the theme of “Block Party” The Theatre Centre transformed the main stage and gallery into the Queen West strip, packing it with the best the neighbourhood has to offer, including live music, DJs, dancing, immersive performances, and gastronomic delights.
I was tasked with creating postcards and a sponsorship brochure that would reflect the unique personality of Queen West, incorporate neon elements, and highlight the excitement and energy of the event.
For the postcards, I used an image captured by photographer Jeremy Mimnagh of The Love Letters Cabaret at the 2015 Bounce Gala. I created a stylized neon tube letterform that I used for the postcard and sponsorship brochure.
The fundraising committee wanted a dynamic brochure to attract donors and sponsors. They wanted to reflect iconic spots along West Queen West and asked for neon colour or neon signs.
I took these photos of distinctive Queen West sights and created my own neon tube lettering.
