My name is Kyle Purcell. I am a designer, photographer, and video maker based in Toronto. As a freelancer, I work with a number of companies on marketing campaigns for theatrical productions and fundraising. I combine my unique skills in video and filmmaking, photography, editing, and graphic design, as well as my passion for the arts, to create marketing material that reflects the essence of the piece and speaks to the audience.
“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” – Aristotle
In addition to my freelance work, I am also extremely proud to work at The Theatre Centre as the Manager of Marketing and Communications and in-house Graphic Designer. The Theatre Centre is an incubator for new work and a cultural hub located in Queen West. My role gives me the opportunity to work with a vast array of uber-talented artists and creators on a variety of design projects for print and the web.
I am a graduate of Ryerson University with a BFA in Acting. When not working, I love to get outside. Whether camping in the Kootenays or Algonquin or just walking through High Park, I love the great outdoors.
